Next steps
Entering the Rio Tinto Prize for Sustainability is a simple process:
Step 1
Register on the Prize website http://www.alcanprize2008.org/ to download the Entry Form and Guidelines for Entry.
Step 2
Research and compile your entry using the guidance notes and section headings in the Entry Form.
Step 3
Complete section 1 of your entry online and obtain an Entry Number which will be issued by IBLF online. Entries can not be accepted without the Unique Entry Reference Number.
Step 4
Submit your entry no later than the closing date and time preferably by uploading the completed Entry Form and requested supporting documentation OR via email. Entries submitted after the closing date and time will not be accepted. When you have successfully submitted your entry, you will receive an email confirmation.
Step 5
Entries that meet eligibility criteria are reviewed by an independent panel of Assessors. IBLF convenes Assessment Panels comprised of sustainability practitioners, in several international markets. Assessors discuss and score entries to determine the shortlist.
Step 6
IBLF and the Adjudication Panel review comprehensive profiles of short listed entrants. All entrants are notified of their success or otherwise. Should your organisation progress to the shortlist, IBLF will request further supporting documents:
1. Most recent year of audited accounts
2. Most recent annual report
Step 7
The winner is notified and announced. A celebration and presentation will take place to recognise the winner.
