Alcan Prize Network

The Alcan Prize Network brings together all people associated with the Prize to share knowledge and experience on issues surrounding international sustainable development.


The Alcan Prize aims to:
  • Raise awareness of the Prize and its progress through the year
  • Provide training on entering the Prize for potential applicants
  • Capture examples of good sustainable development practice
  • Offer updates from winners of the impact that the Prize has had for those organizations
  • Use the power of the network as a voice of civil society on international sustainable development through surveys and polls on key issues
  • Disseminate new thinking, publications, research and issue papers from organizations and individuals associated with The Prize
  • Present opportunities to work together to solve common problems or collaborate on international projects

from management and travel activities relating to the Prize with contributions to Climate Care.
